Description/Blurb:
Edward’s soft voice came from behind me. I turned to see him spring lightly up the porch steps, his hair windblown from running. He pulled me into his arms at once, just like he had in the parking lot, and kissed me again.
This kiss frightened me. There was too much tension, too strong an edge to the way his lips crushed mine – like he was afraid we had only so much time left to us.

My Thoughts:
Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I really have lost count of how many times I have read the books in this series. I still enjoy the story just as much as I did the first time I read it, but I do seem to be a bit more discerning and more observant as a reader than I had been years ago when I read them for the first time.
I couldn’t help but notice some inconsistencies in the story this time around. For instance, she mentions the date being June 4th, and then a few pages later says the weather felt more like February than May. There were little things like that. Thus, the lower rating than I may have previously given the story.
I love the action in this one, for some reason, though I felt a bit…conflicted about the Edward versus Jacob drama. I mean, I love a good love triangle like the next person, but things just always seem to work out too well for Bella, and I am conflicted about the way so many boys just seem to be throwing themselves at her.
I seem to be doing a lot of rereading lately, instead of reading new books, but I had been in a bit of a reading and blogging slump, and this was just what the doctor ordered to help me get back into the groove.
